It's typical for wedding photographers to call this time of the year "wedding season". Which is true. But in my schedule, this time of year has also been "baby season". It's amazing how many babies surround me and my blog and I'm blessed to be a part of each and everyone of their stories. Christina and Joey are no exception. They were sent my way by the fabulous Nea and they were just as fabulous as her! They are expecting a little girl within the next month and I'm super excited to meet little J.

The Dodger game was just winding down as we were about to start our session so I suggested that Joey listen to the end and then meet us inside the South Coast Botanic Garden. He was very excited to oblige and he continued on with the session happily.
While walking around the South Coast Botanic Garden, we stumbled on an old non-working turquoise tram. Um, yes please!
I love finding random things to frame my beautiful couples.
To all my photographer friends, this next image was shot with the 50mm, f/1.0 at 1.0!!! It makes her skin look so effing smooth it's ridiculous. (ISO 125, f/1.0, 1/800)

Her turquoise dress is gorgeous! I love the trim.

Love the last one... just perfect!
Call it fate to find that random matching tram? Whatever you call it, it worked out awesome. Really captured the beauty of not only the two of them together but captured the beauty of the beginning of a new life.
