Annie & Robin : Married

I'm sure you've heard it before or read it somewhere, but since this is my blog, I'll give you my take. I adore second shooting. Anytime I do it, I go in with a completely different perspective than I do when I'm the main photographer. No one is ever paying attention to me and that's the beauty of it. I get to capture those smiles people usually don't show in front of a camera. The real, raging laughter kinda smiles. I love it. So when Heidi Ryder asked me to come along for a few hours for Annie & Robin's wedding day, I of course said Yes, please!

Annie & Robin's day at the Los Angeles Arboretum was filled with laughter. All day. The bridesmaids joked, Robin made faces, the children played and Annie was content. I had such a blast and I only wish I got to know them more. I wasn't able to stay the whole day, but what I did get to witness, was priceless. Many thanks to Heidi Ryder and Jen Berry for the laughs that day. I pray we meet again and hopefully, if the stars align, we get the same guide to drive us around the grounds. xoxo

See, what I mean? The bridesmaids were always close by to make everyone laugh.

Annie was just radiant all day. So very happy and carefree.

Robin brought out so many sides of Annie as he vowed to spend the rest of his life with her. The following sequence are some of my favorites.

PS- I am so jealous you get to hang with Jen Berry. I wish I lived near a fellow workshopee.
