Mari & Victor : Darling

To say I love my job as a photographer is an understatement. I get to be creative, play outside, bask in the beautiful SoCal golden light, blah, blah, blah. The real reason I love my job though, is my clients. I get to meet and hang out with such amazing people and each time it's to document a special slice of a moment in their happy lives. Like Mari, for example. I'm pretty sure the first email she sent to me included the words "wowza" and "fantastical" and zillions of exclamation points. Whenever I see lots of exclamation points, my heart smiles. When she sent in her contract, she sealed the envelope with a rhinestone flower. Um, hello? I LOVE when clients get just as giddy about a session as I do. So yes, I love my clients. And exclamation points. And glitter.

Mari & Victor are expecting a little girl in less than 6 weeks and she wanted to rock a session, feel beautiful and show off her baby bump. They are so full of life and love and over-the-moon-enthusiastic about their new addition that I am kinda jealous they're not my parents. I can't say that I "worked" last Sunday when the 3 of us met up for our session, because really it felt like I was hanging out with two old friends. Mari & Victor, I'm so excited for the both of you and I can't wait for little I's arrival. xoxo
