I was looking forward to this day for a while. We had to reschedule this shoot twice in the last month so the anticipation to meet these two was building up. We met for the first time at the Metrolink station. I had heard a lot about Elsy and Jose but had never actually talked to either of them. When I heard that Elsy thought we should take the train to Union Station to avoid any weekday traffic I knew this was going to be good. I had never been on the metrolink and was uber excited for the experience. Little did I know that two days later this would happen, so I guess I will never be riding it again.
Elsy and Jose are such a sweet couple, the type that don't need to talk much for you to see their love for one another. I really enjoyed meeting them and although we had a lot less time to shoot, I think they did such an awesome job in front of the camera. They are getting married this Saturday and I cannot wait to share in their day. Thank you Elsy and Jose for letting me document your story AND for the awesome taquito dinner at Olvera Street! A special thanks goes out to Bea for assisting me!
